SW Mixer

This mixer screen provides control over the SW card built in mixer.

There is no way to read back the current status of the mixer. Hence to ensure, the panel correctly

reflects the current setup you may wish to use the Refresh Synth menu option

The mixer setup is saved into XGedit .XGE save files. However to avoid corrupting other users

setups, the status of the mixer is NEVER saved to midi files.

(1) XG Synth Input

Indicates the mixer routing for the left/right channels of the on-board XG synth.

(2) Microphone Input

Indicates the mixer routing for the left/right channel contributions from the microphone socket.

(3) Line/CD Input

Indicates the mixer routing for the left/right channels of the Line/CD input.

(4) XG Synth Input Level

Controls the stereo input level from the on-board XG synth

(5) Mic Input Level

Controls left/right input level from the microphone

Note that although the microphone socket is monaural, the two knobs allow the overall volume and balance

between left and right mixer channels to be adjusted.

Note the small LED adjacent to the knobs determines whether the left/right controls are locked

together or may be adjusted independently.

(6) Line/CD Input Level

Controls left/right input level from the Line In/CD

for the Line/CD input.
